St. Thomas Episcopal Church has planted a community garden to produce fresh vegetables and other food for the hungry, to be
distributed through a local food pantry. We also are collecting other items as requested by the pantry on a monthly basis: in January, please bring dry pasta and tinned fruit.
Our Sunday School program, Godly
Play, is open to all children ages 2-11. We offer Godly Play on the second and third Sundays of every
month, from 9:30-10:15am in the Parish House. Godly Play is Montessori-based curriculum that uses storytelling,
imaginative play and wonder to share the stories of our faith. The premise of Godly Play is that every child already
has an experience of God.They simply so not have language yet to express it. Godly Play provides for creative expression of
children's experience of God.
Construction of a playground for the benefit of all the children in the community has been completed! The playground is for all children so please make use of this wonderful facility.
We are enormously grateful to the Dyson Foundation for the gift which makes this possible.
